Ok, so this isn't much about bacon as it is about burgers. I was lucky enough to be invited by Rev from
BURGER CONQUEST to head to
RARE BAR & GRILL in NYC for a "burger tasting". These were honestly some of the best burgers I've ever had...and two of the three burgers tasted had some of the most amazing apple smoked bacon ever to grace a burger.
The best being the "M&M Burger" which is their classic flambeed in Makers Mark, topped with caramelized shallots, cheddar cheese & of course, apple smoked bacon (served slider style for this special event).
